Incredibly excited to have Violet playing our Interplay x Spectral night! The producer behind one of the most impactful records in the past year – her joyous, breaks heavy release Togetherness has been played absolutely everywhere, including on Eris Drew’s RA podcast. She runs the label naive, which also operates as an excellent mix series called naivetape. She’s appeared on Rinse FM shows, made a mix for Cómeme and is a resident DJ at Lisbon based party mina alongside other amazing Portuguese based DJs.
Kiara Scuro are a rising London based DJ duo with upcoming appearances at Gottwood and Dimensions. Together and separately, they’ve created amazing mixes for Banoffee Pies, Red Light Radio, The Ransom Note, Dimensions and covered FTD’s NTS show. With a passion for the weirder and darker corners of EBM, acid, house and beyond, they perfectly fit Spectral’s musical philosophy.
Superfície is a Brazilian producer and DJ based in Dublin who makes scintillating club music. His 2016 EP Hélices combined club and ambient with baile funk to transport listeners to his Brazilian roots through his music. The EP came with a remix by Club Chai’s FOOZOOL. He’s been featured in FACT’s 10 under-the-radar club tracks you need to hear feature and has previously played at The Yard for London party Wild Combination alongside Cõvco and Ziúr.
London based DJ Aurora runs Spectral, booking DJs who focus on the weirder and freakier side of the dancefloor. She’s appeared on Beatrice Dillon’s and anu’s NTS shows, done a mix for Hyponik of frantic techno and broken bleeps and been part of the Tobago Tracks residency for Berlin Community Radio. Aurora’s sets combine leftfield techno, acid, freaky electro and more. She also produces spacious, squeaky techno under the name Vampire Crab.
Based in London, Lora first got her start at premier hip hop night Livin’ Proof before going on to run the grapefruit parties for nearly 2 years stemming from a desire many new DJs experience – wanting a free space to experiment with sounds and book some of her favourite djs and producers around. After a short hiatus she lent her hand to new clubbing experience nice one with DJ Liana. Lora can be found monthly on Know Wave radio repping Interplay. She’s appeared on NTS, The Lot Radio, and London Fields Radio among others and can be found playing a mix of experimental club tracks, techno, rap, soul and house and whatever else takes her fancy with a focus on keeping it interesting for the dancefloor and taking risks in the mix.
