NOW Lates: misery

30 January

We’re back at The Yard for a lil sober rave on Thursday 30th January, 10-2am to rejoice in the fact we’re still here, depressed and precious as ever. Whether you’re finishing up Dry January or have in fact spent most of the new decade licked off ur head top, misery wants to celebrate you!

It’s January 2020 & u probably won’t go to the gym this decade either because u know what, fuck the gym. The world is crumbling around you but at least u have ur traumatised & overburdened chosen family to rely on…

Lady Shaka & Noor Palette will join Misery DJs on the decks and to those of you who come to our parties just for the food, fear not, Queer Masala will be in the kitchen where they belong.

We’re also so blessed to have QTIBPOC psychotherapist in training @sabah.c back with us again for DEPRECIOUS providing our theraputic service, One 2 Hun.

Sabah will be offering drop-in/30 minute slots for a ONE 2 HUN: have a one-to-one with a hun. This is your space to be heard, to speak about anything on your mind, or just sit in silence with someone who is there to listen to you, witness you, accept you, sharing any advice or relevant signposting you may need.

The Yard is fully wheelchair accessible.

Tickets, as always, are pay what you can. Please DO pay what you can as everything we do is funded through ticket sales!

Suggested ticket price is 5 pounds for QTIBPOC and 8 pounds or more for allies.

All donations count as a ticket.

Everyone is welcome at this event though non-QTIBPOC are encouraged to pay more and be mindful of how they take up space.

If you can’t make the party but would still like to support our work, you can donate to
