Please Help The Yard and Hackney Wick’s Covid Recovery
How Can I Donate?
- Join our community of Friends & Guardians by choosing a monthly or annual option here
- Or make a one-off donation using our simple donation widget below
- Simply make your cheque out to THE YARD THEATRE LIMITED and post it to:
- Development Manager, The Yard Theatre, Unit 2a, Queen’s Yard, White Post Lane, London, E9 5EN
You can donate directly, or choose to run a fundraise campaign for The Yard using our JustGiving page here
- Ask your employer if they have a Payroll Giving scheme, where they take a donation from your PAYE and donate on your behalf
- The advantage is you don’t pay tax on donations – so a pledge of £10 to us would only cost you £8 (or £6 if you are a higher rate tax payer). Your employer may even offer to match your donation!
- If they do, ask them to give the amount of your choice to THE YARD THEATRE LIMITED, Charity Number 1144028
If you have a family trust, you could join a prestigious cohort of major trusts and foundations that have supported The Yard Theatre including Garfield Weston Foundation, Foyle Foundation, Jerwood Charitable Foundation, The Wellcome Trust and many more.
Contact Gareth, The Yard’s Interim Development Manager by emailing development@theyardtheatre.co.uk.

Why Do We Need Your Help?
We’re working hard to support three key groups:
- Local residents who’ve lost income or still need to shield
- Young people experiencing overwhelming isolation and anxiety over the futures
- Freelance artists and workers who’ve lost income and not been eligible for support through SEISS
Your donation will:
- Provide food and other essentials through The Exchange food bank
- Deliver free online drama and creative workshops for young people
- Employ freelancers and artists to deliver online sessions, and support commissions for when our theatre reopens
With huge losses to our earned income, your donations are more important than ever. Please give what you can.
