Live Drafts: Rukeya

5 July, 7.30pm

Carrying a hammer in a handbag and wearing safety clothes as armour – Rukeya dances against trans-erasure.

This is a meditation.
A ritual for self-defence.
A brown trans fantasy where overwhelming, wasteful and purposeless dance rule.

This performance contains nudity and the use of strobe lights.

Supported by Kala Sangam Arts Centre, Dance City, Steakhouse Live, The Green Nunhead, Agnony Art, Rietveld Academy, Odbhut Queer Bangla Group
