NOW 20 | WEEK 2

28 Jan - 1 Feb

Lite Metle // 7.30pm

If you want to know how light metal is, then listen carefully.

Total Theatre & The Place Award for Dance 2019 nominee Ultimate Dancer uses uncanny sounds, songs and recycled dances to skew reality in mystical directions, creating new worlds.

A computer can become an opera singer, can become Greta Thunberg, can become dogs biting sour trees, can become the change, can become a forever winter solstice, can become bitcoins, can become vantablack, can become romance, can go up in flames, can become a clotted blood frog, can be eaten alive and can be a complete state of mind.

Make the heaviest world light again.

Commissioned by The Yard Theatre. Supported through The Work Room’s Residency programme.

fire bird // 9pm

fire bird is a queer and personal interpretation of the iconic Stravinsky musical score written and first performed over 100 years ago.
