Dangerous and unsettling, Removal Men is a show with live music and songs. It tells the story of a fragmented twenty first century Britain, trying to be powerful, trying to love, trying to escape.
Removal Men is the first full length work for theatre by writer and musician M. J. Harding, a founding member of the band Fat White Family.
Following the critical acclaim and sold-out success of The Mikvah Project and LINES, Removal Men will be artistic director Jay Miller’s third production for The Yard.
Removal Men has been created through research with people who have direct experience of immigration removal centres, both as detainees, ex-detainees, and officers.
Removal Men was performed in front of an audience at The Yard Theatre as part of Jerwood First Drafts in 2015, kindly supported by Jerwood Charitable Foundation.
