Over the past year, The Yardlings have been creating worlds. Worlds that are weird, woodsy, swampy and wonderfully fantastical.
Working with live artist Daniel Oliver, with support from Jemima Mayala and Jack Hughes, The Yardlings will take you deep into the wild world of the woodsy woods. Expect the strangest documentary you’ve ever seen, live reconstructions and the lines between reality and fiction to become blurred.
‘WARNING: BEWARE OF SWAMP MONSTERS. PLEASE DON’T FEED THE IDEA ANIMALS.‘
Yardlings: Bigger are sharp and wild, full of chaos and brimming with ideas. They are 7-11 year olds from Gainsborough Primary School, who work with professional artists, to play with big ideas and make theatre.
Daniel Oliver is a dyspraxic performance artist who makes wild and raucous participatory performances. He has shown his work throughout the UK and internationally since 2003.
