LOOM: BORDERLESS
24 November 2024
4pm-9pm
ABOUT
An evening in which we’ll go beyond the margins of our assumptions and senses.
Borderless is an interdisciplinary event of collaborative artistic performances, community workshops, and panel discussions. Borders exist to separate and define - our identity, political states, and cultural norms. They are meant to equip us with a sense of safety and belonging, the otherness equating to danger. Witnessing the current state of the world evokes the thought that the opposite might be true.
By weaving together music, poetry, movement, and community discussions, we open the doors to explore the limitations borders create, uncovering the illusions that lie behind them.
In questioning the boundaries that usually exist within the performance spaces LOOOM invites you to dream of a different world, the borderless.
