ABOUT
Habibti Nation features the best of SWANA and Arabic underground electronic music. Expect energetic UK club sounds mixed with darbuka drums, mahraganat, and raï.
Yard Resident, Habibti Nation is back for their second party supported by The Yard Theatre. Showcasing a stellar line-up from Algeria, Iran and Iraq via Berlin and London, this is the best of SWANA (Southwest Asia and North Africa) and Arabic underground electronic music.
AZADI.mp3, will debut with a high-energy mix of footwork, drill, ballroom, and Iranian classics. Berlin-based Acidfinky, boss of Twisting Knobs Records and a member of inclusive DJ collective BLVSH, will join us with their unique club sound. And, Habibti Nation's very own mama LUMA will be mixing UK club sounds with SWANA classics. Warning! Every Habibti Nation event has sold out, so don't sleep on tickets.
Habibti Nation stands in solidarity with Palestine and against the collective punishment of Palestinians by Israel and will donate all profits from this event to humanitarian aid in Gaza through the Amos Trust charity.
